Heel lifts are used for a variety of conservative orthopedic issues including helping reduce uneven leg lengths, reducing functional scoliosis resulting from a leg length discrepancy and to reduce tension to the achilles tendon.
Heel lifts are an easy, discrete way to elevate a heel by fitting the lift right into an existing shoe. The shoe requires some depth to accommodate the lift. These lifts can also be glued onto a sandal or dress shoe that is open at the back. Various heights, sizes and colours are available.
OKAPED supplies pre-made lifts of various heights and sizes and our Pedorthists can custom make any height and any size for the correction required. For larger lifts we also do custom footwear modifications.
